Looking for new opportunities to use their skills and experience in caring for the citizens of Texas, they put together MedDrip. They bring their experience and passion for helping with them to serve the people in the communities of South Central Texas and help them feel their best.
Shannon Milner, NREMT-LP
Co-Owner | Licensed Paramedic
Shannon Milner was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. After graduating high school, he moved to the small west Texas town of Alpine with his best friend so that they could go to college together. And so he did, graduating from Sul Ross State University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. No different than many students, Shannon needed part-time work and soon discovered not just a job, but a talent for Firefighting and Emergency Medical Services in the Alpine Fire Department serving the City of Alpine and portions of Brewster County. It was there that he actually began his career, earned his EMT certification, and after working several years attained the rank of Second Captain. Shannon then moved to South Texas where he eventually returned to college, earning a National Certification as Licensed Paramedic. For more than 13 years he served the people from Gonzales County EMS/Rescue E.S.D #1.
Shannon has been in the Fire, EMS, and Rescue services for 18 years and has enjoyed helping people as well as the unique lifestyle it provides. However, jobs like these are hard and over years the view of the future changes. Shannon decided it was time to make a change and took the plunge.
Greatest Achievement: Still working towards my life’s goals.
Current Passions: Spending quality time with my girlfriend who I love dearly. Also, becoming an entrepreneur responsible for my own success and not just the success of others.
For Fun: Exploring new places, trying new things (like expanding my vegetarian cooking portfolio), and spending time at the river in New Braunfels.
“I’ve always had an entrepreneurial mindset and while on duty with my EMS partner (Mike), REVIVE IV THERAPY was born. Since then we have been working towards our goal and look forward to continuing serving our communities by providing a quality product with outstanding customer care.”
Michael Leming, NREMT-P
Co-Owner | Paramedic
Mike was born in Los Angeles, raised in Northern California, and moved to Austin,TX as a young adult. Early on he exhibited ambition and determination when he started his first company at age 22. It didn’t take long, however, before the motivation to help others prevailed and he found the means to attain that goal as a firefighter and paramedic. Originally on a part-time basis to support his educational goals, Mike has now been caring for others for over 15 years.
Mike is a Certified Professional Firefighter & Paramedic. He worked for FOX films as a set-medic for multiple films, which he jokingly claims has something to do with being born in Los Angeles, too close to Hollywood. Mike spent 10 years working the busy 911 systems in Texas as a paramedic, including the greater metropolitan areas of Austin and San Antonio. During that time, he added Certified Critical Care Paramedic to his resume.
Greatest Achievement: My 9 year-old son.
Current Passions: Texas A&M University – Bachelors in Aviation, pursuing a fixed wing pilot’s license, and then…more.
For Fun: Mountain biking, cooking, gardening, being a single papa!
“I brought the idea of an IV therapy company to a co-worker’s attention and how we could utilize both our unique work experience into a business model that would bring ease and convenience to customers seeking our superior IV services.”
Leah Kernan, D.O.
My name is Dr. Leah Kernan and I started my medical career as a LVN in Missouri. I quickly realized that I could handle more responsibility and my family and friends encouraged me to advance my education. After getting an associate degree in Nursing, I joined the US Army. This became the driving force behind my medical career spanning 21 years. I graduated from Lake Erie College of Medicine in 2008. After completing my residency in 2012 in Emergency Medicine at Fort Hood, Texas, I continue to serve rural communities throughout Texas that need caring, quality physicians.
I am a board-certified physician, specializing in emergency medicine. I hold current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, AWLS, and PALS. I was also honored in the U.S. Army and received the Bronze Star and Meritorious Service medals for my work in Afghanistan.
I currently live in Caldwell County with my husband of over 30 years and my third child. I have two adult sons that have followed in my footsteps of service and currently serve their respective communities. In my free time I am a beekeeper and a stain glass artisan.
